• It is heartbreaking to know one who has died senselessly that should have been helped, could have been saved.

The Refuge Foundation, Inc. (non-profit 501c(3)), supporting The Refuge, A Healing Place was founded in direct response to those in need of the outstanding trauma and addiction treatment services provided through The Refuge.

The Refuge Foundation is dedicated in giving an opportunity to all those suffering in darkness a chance to come into the light.

Community Outreach Program

The Refuge Foundation's Community Outreach Program, along with partnering with local businesses and organizations, advocates for community awareness regarding Addiction and Trauma. The Foundation sponsors events and provides educational forums that concentrate on healing and prevention of Trauma and Addiction. Additionally, The Refuge Foundation facilitates a wide variety of recovery support groups within the local community.

Programs & Events:

Provide educational lectures on substance abuse, gaming, process addiction, PTSD, and trauma.
Host local schools & organizations to participate in ropes & challenge course, promoting teambuilding, leadership skills, and self esteem.
Facilitate specialized recovery support groups at Refuge Transitions for members within the local community.
Host and support local events to help raise awareness of community wellness programs available.
